What to do, thanks to lfs

I sent my wife to a very respected lfs near us today while i was at work, i haven't bought a new fish in a very long time and they just got some miniatus groupers in and i really wanted one for the 180. Anyways, i get home from work and check out my new guy in qt, only to see a 3-4" louti grouper, i can't blame my wife, they had them marked as miniatus groupers. Well, i called them to let them know i want to trade it in for a miniatus, they said they can't do it, which really ****ed me off. Now instead of having a miniatus that grows to 14", i've got this louti that can grow upwards to 3', this sucks.

if its not a miniatus and they sold it as a miniatus, i would definitely go speak to a manager, or the store owner. That is unacceptable, how much was the fish ? Its not like you're asking for a refund either, you're asking for a MINIATUS

i hate situations like this, hope it works out

yes, they have to take it back. there is no way I would let them say no - there are too many reasons.

1- mislabeled, which should be enough, it's not like you special ordered it
2- this fish will get way too large, they should know that
3- probably overcharged
4- it's your wife they took adavantage of, can't have that happening
5- principle/customer satisfaction

gl

I don't think they probably did this maliciously, but it's their wrong and they need to take responsibility for it.

Well, good. It's only right, after all. If you had kept the fish a month or something, that would be another thing.

Either that or you could drop some aispastia, mantis shrimps and more in their display tanks....
