yeah those shrimp are evil. with their big eyes theyre always hiding in the back I dont know Ive given up trying to catch them. I just try to feed them krill so they dont get hungry and start eating my mushrooms. Actually I have 4 shrimps that arent reef safe, 2 of those humpbacks and 2 mantis shrimps...They live like KINGS in my tank, i dont want to upset them or they might turn vengeful and destroy something. So I keep them fed and happy. WHat else can you do?

Is that a 40g breeder (36x18 footprint) or a 40g long (48x13 footprint)? Either way its beautiful, nice jpictures too.

Well the TBS rock is stacked very carefully. I had some other live rock that didntr have much life on it so I used that as the base then I just tried to place the TBS rock so all the life would show. BELIEVE me I have been messing with the rock work forever. I had it a really cool way where the rocks on the left arched more but than it started to slip so i had to make it more stable. Basically each rock holds up another rock so if one was removed I believe it might just all fall down.

That tank is a 40 gallon breeder. I really want to get the 65 gallon that fits my stand but I am broke as a joke. I swear that if any more of my money for college went into my tank then I would have to give up food. So thats not an option although I did do that once....this hobby is dangerous.

I like the clown goby pic...nicest color I have seen on one of those guys in awhile.

I say leave the 2 mounds. I like that look. Unique and hard to do in a small tank, but you did a great job

Dont you like my lamp coral??

I love my clown goby, he is so great I have had him the longest of any of my fishes. Since I got my Lawnmower blenny the clown goby has pretty much been forced to stay in the acro. The mean lawnmower wont let him leave! So when i feed him he has to dart out then dart back in.

KeLusth - I don't think you need more rock! I love the space between. It gives the tank some more insteresting contrast, and gives the two seperate reefs sort of a life of their own. I really like the look.

Keep it!!

Clown gobies are really peaceful..too bad about the LMB bugging him.

But if he is acro-happy, then its cool!
