pumping xenia

I have read somewhere that pumping xenia do not ship well. does anyone have any knowledge to this?

They are a bit delecate but it can be done, if you pack it well in an insulated box and send it overnight.

thanks for the help
the reason I am asking is the lfs is getting some pumping xenia in wednesday. Do you think it would be better to let them acclimate the xenia or just pick it up when it comes in?

I agree if it looks ok when they first get their shipment in grab it to prevent stress. Ive seen some corrals come in that are already doomed (water looks murky and smells like #@$@). I found once it takes to your tank the stuff grows like crazy I bought one and it has splitt about twenty times in 6 months or so. Good luck
