I'll share my own crappy pic.

This coral definately isn't a danae. It's much smoother growth form, sparser polyps and halo-like polyps. It's definately one of the coolest corals/ frags I've come across. And it seems to grow rather quickly. It's definately at the top of the most favorite list.

Chin I agree. Pretty cool coral.

I think your picture skills may be better than mine though.
I think I am going to hire somebody to come and take photos.

I go it from one of my connections from when I had my on-line store. I got a male and 2 females.

They require the same care as any flasher. They actually are pretty easy to care for. My male flashes all the time, pretty cool.

Nick
I saw your post from the other day. Sometime in the future I may have a frag of this coral but I need to take care of a few locals first.

Might take a while but........

Tstone, The picture of the wrasse belongs to me. There is a thread in the photo gallery where I posted the original picture. I don’t mind you using my picture, but please give me the photo credit. Thanks -Eric Riffenburg

Eric that is correct.
I could not remember which thread it came from but I did disclose it was not mine. It is a great pic and you do deserve the credit.

I should have looked harder for the thread to give proper credit.

My apologies.

Can you come by my place to take some decent shots of my McCosker? I'll trade for a frag of something.

I saw this coral in person on Sunday and all I can say is that the pictures on the net don't do it justice whatsoever. Judging by the pictures from the net one would think it's a brownish/light orange coral with bright green polyps, however in person it's an incredibly bright candy orange. Sweeeet coral

Crappy pic #2 -it grows.

Tried taking pics under an old 6K GE bulb rather than the 20K Helios, debatable which is worse. I so need a proper camera (or something).

But it grows.

I'd definitely like to trade for this coral. I've got the Atlantis Aquarium pink polyp cap, and some other real nice stuff growing out. Maybe I could make a trip down to MA, when things get a little warmer.

Tom, this is a must have coral for the SPS enthusiast. Besides the whole "LE" "Uncommong" 'Rare" factor, it's beautiful!

FWIW, I still haven't seen a photo that depicts the true bright orange color.

When Steve first posted it, I didn't pay much attention. It didn't seem like anything that special, so I didn't jump on it to get an early reservation. Now it's out to 2008
