green slime - help

I have some green slime on the glass of my tank. I think it is cyano. What is the best way to get rid of it? Nitrate is at 20 and other than the parameters are okay.

lighting is 130 w of pc on 8hrs a day.
remora skimmer
feed fishes (two clowns, 6-line, and lawnmower) once a day.

Getting your nitrates down to 5 or less will help the most. Try siphoning while scraping it off the glass also.

Do you have the surface extractor for your Remora? Running extra carbon or Poly-filter? Whats your water change schedule?
If your fish are fat and happy maybe try cutting feeding in half for a month.

It is hard trying to scrap it off the glass b/c it is at the bottom where the sand is. Only a little of it is on the surface of the sand.

I do not have a surface extractor. I do see surface scum on the top. What is the best way to get rid of this? Should I buy a prefilter box?
