Where to get a 40ml beaker?

Im sick of using my tiny 15ml test kit beakers to measure out B-Ionic, have to fill it up twice each does.

Also where can I get one of thoes droppers that you can turn the dial and take out a measured ammount of liquid. It gets hard to pour the big jugs when they are near empty.

Thanks

hmm

I think there's a scientific toy type place in Jack London Square. Of course I can't remember the name or exact location but I think it's by the Walgreens.-Jim

I could get you some syringes (3ml, 6ml, 12ml, 20ml, 35ml,60ml) from my work. Works great for measuring dose's. Let me know if you're interested.

That would be great Jonovan02, sent a pm to you.

cal3v- do you mean fry's electornics?

Dose any know what I mean by the long slender glass tubes that have a dial at the top that allows you to suck out a mesured amount of liquid by turning the dial? I cant think of what they are called but have seen them used before and they seem perfect as I wouldnt even have to pour anything.

Try either of these. I have a set of the plastic ones, very useful. I use them to dose liquid Magnesium, to measure the reactor's effluent, to sample water for tests etc.

It's called a pipette, and the "dial" mechanism is a pipette pump. Check out http://www.bel-art.com/ for pics, description and dealers.

I agree that it's a very useful tool. I use it all the time, mainly for target feeding. Just tonight, in fact, I attached a Salifert tip to the pipette and was able to dose Joe's juice down to an aptasia at the bottom of the 2' tank without getting my forearm wet.

What I did was to pour the B-Ionic from the one gallon jugs, into used water bottles (the little ones) - the ones with the squirt tops.

Probably the most economical is through the net. Try googling pipette. Your other alternative is local lab supply stores.

The legit ones, not the crank supply stores
