How many people are still using their Reeftecs with either the LG or Cal pumps. Both of my PE1's died after 5-6 months, got replacements under warranty, and then both died about the same time. I've switched over to the Cals, and one died after 9 months, the other is still running but with obvious reduced power.

I've bought a Tunze 6100 now, but still need more current. This reeftec experiment has been absolutely a waste of money.

Well I can update you on these two I build one is still running took it out yesterday and cleaned it the other one died about a month ago. So the one lasted almost a year to the day!

I built another one out of a Pe-1 pump and it didn't last to long at all maybe 5-6 months as Pjr knows

The ones I made out of Beckett pumps are still going after 5 months. I had LG pumps before and they died in a couple of months.

My KenTech was reborn with a CAL pump and is doing quite fine. I think the PE-1 was actually a bit stronger, but hey, this one works better!
