Mini Compact Bulbs

Hi all. Im fairly new, only a few months. I saw these lights and was wondering if anyone else has used them. I could fit enough in my rig to get the perfect amount of light, and an experienced friend of mine is quite interested.

Anyway, they are very small compact flourescents that screw into incandescent outlets. They can be found at Petco and Liveaquaria.

Anyone with experience with these, your input would be great.

TIA,
Joe

I have 2 of them over my 10 gallon shrimp tank. The caulerpa and Spaghetti algae are growing well. I don't have any corals in it, but the coraline is growing on the rocks. Didn't care for the 50/50s much Seemed too blue.

$10 bulbs for 10W?
Why not go to Costco and buy the LOA for 65W at $19.95.
Now that's a refugium light

I like the 13w retrofits at www.hellolights.com or www.ahsupply.com myself. I have 4 of them over a 7G AGA Minibow and it looks great.
