Lightbulb Is this enough light?

I am starting to get my fowlr to a softie reef tank, I have two 96 watt and am wondering if both are 10K if I could go NO fluorescent URI's 40 watt Super Actinic R *2 which would give me a total of 4.95 watts per gallon. Would this be a good set up?

That would be fine for most softies (ex. leathers, mushrooms, xenia, etc..) Also you shouldn't have any problems with many of the LPS (Hammers, Frog spawn, etc...)

Good Luck!!!

I would also like to have Ricordea's, which I think are so awesome. Would this set up do?

You will be fine.. Ricordea's are very similar to mushrooms. I have seen Ricordeas do well under VHOs, PC and MHs.
