another fuge bulb thread
Iven been using melev's 5100k bulb on my fuge for about 3 months now and my chaeto has maybe increased 30% this seems really bad to me considering im hovering around 20ppm nitrate i run it reverse photoperiod . Anyone have any other bulbs out there with sucess ive been reading 6500k is a good choice will i see a difference in this?

Regular old 20W compact fluorescents work for me. Use two if you have a large fuge.

Im with the LOA or even a simple light bulb, my experience was that the more yellow the better the Chaeto grew! I ran a simple shop light over mine and than went to LOA and it was great!

I use two bulbs similiar to the one's Melev uses. The more the merrier.
