Question Roch/Finger Lakes twopartsolution.com order?

Any interest in putting in an order to twopartsolution.com?

I'm ordering some calcium chloride, magnesium chloride and some GFO. If you'd like to combine orders w/ me to save, that would be great. If not, we would still be able to share the cost of shipping.

Thanks

Thank you for giving us a chance to hop on Scott. I do plan on placing an order from them but not until about a month from now. My car decided to start sucking antifreeze into the engine so current "mission impossible" is to find a replacement vehicle. Thank god this year I did all my Christmas shopping in October.

Sure. I'll post this up again the week after Christmas (before the January credit card bills arrive!).

The prices are good, but the shipping will kill you if there's only one or two people ordering.

Putting this out there again.

Anyone interested in putting together an order from www.twopartsolution.com?

I'm planning on attending Dr. Klier's swap, so I'd be able to deliver the goods that day.

If you're interested, let me know.

I'll also look into a club discount. (Did this ever pan out w/ bosborn1's group GFO order?)

If possible, I'd like to get the order put together by Sunday 1/6 so that it arrives in time for the 27th.

Thanks!

Not sure if the original gfo came in or not. I did the carbon order between about 10 of and it worked out pretty good. If your getting the gfo I'd be in and you might want to post to the original gfo to see if other guys are still interested.

I was thinking that people could check out the site and let me know what they want (GFO, two part ingredients, carbon, etc.). If a bunch of folks want GFO (or any other product), I can order in bulk and then divide it up.

My main goal was to save some $$ in shipping, but if we can save more by buying in bulk, that would be all the better!

You can PM me or post to this thread with the product and quantity you'd like, and I'll post the order here with amounts everyone owes before I place the order (sometime early next week?).

I just want to make sure stuff gets here before Mark's swap.

Thanks!

Which GFO are you ordering? The pellet or the granule? I may want to split the order with you.

Let's set the deadline for Wednesday, January 9th at noon.

I'm getting the GFO granules to run in my reactor. BTW- I picked up this one from Marine Depot and in includes the pump:

Works great so far!

Granulated Ferric Oxide

It's basically a phosphate remover, usually run in a reactor, but sometimes run passively in a mesh bag (like carbon).

Yep, that would be fine. I also have a paypal account that I'll be using to pay for the order.

So far, jdoenumber2, thriceanangel and captain7359 expressed interest. Please keep in mind that I'm not limiting this to GFO. If there's anything else on the www.twopartsolution.com webpage you'd like to order, post it to this thread.

Also, please let me know what amounts you would like. I don't mind dividing up bulk purchases into ziplocks for people if it saves us some dough.

Thanks!

iirc the club members should have a 10% discount. Check with Ryan or Andrew at 2 part to see if that still stands or even the original wholesale pricing that bosborn was getting might still be good. I'm in for 2# either way.

Back to page 1.

I've got an email in to Andrew at bulkreefsupply.com (formerly twopartsolution.com) to see if there's any other incentives they offer for a club order.

I'll post to this thread when I hear anything from him.

I'd like GFO and carbon. Let us know when you have more details.
Thanks.

I haven't heard back from Andrew yet, but did a little more reading on the website re. group/club buys.

Basically, the site has built-in quantity discounts. Due to the small number of people interested at this time, our main savings will be on shipping.

If it turns out Mark has to change the swap to Saturday the 26th, I will not be able to make it. I'd be happy to go ahead with the order and meet Monroe/Livingston county folks to get them their stuff.

Here's what I have right now. (I don't have quantities for much of this):

jdoenumber2: RO filters, bulk DI and carbon

captain7359: 2 lbs. of GFO

woodwonders: GFO and carbon

me: 1 lb. GFO and 1 gallon Calcium Chloride

michaeljames: ??? total two-part system

If folks could post here or PM me to let me know if they're still interested, and if so give me quantities, then I can calculate totals and shipping and get the order submitted.

Thanks!

Local meet for pick up is no problem. Never orderd from them before. Couple of quick questions:

Which carbon are you guys using?
Lignite or Rox 0.8? I'll be running it in a TLF reactor.

Which GFO? Granules or pellet? I've been running PhosBan which is granular. Never tried pellet. Is it worth the extra money? This will be in another TLF reactor.

Just wondering what your experience is with their products. Price differences will dictate how much I want.
Thanks for the info.
