I have put mine where there is gentle flow. I had a couple not make it. My third one has been up for 8months and have been spot feeding it. Something I didn't do with the others.

The red/pink ones are much easier than the green ones. I have never been able to make one live, although all my other corals do fine. I placed my red one at the bottom of the tank and have sps, lps all over the tank.

i just spent an hour reading that and lots of info. to what i can see that my flow may be a little to ruff but i will keep an eye on it to see if it still extends out as far as it did today. plus i feed rods food once or twice aweek and on the other days i do other frozen foods. i think the rods food would be the best for it
