Yes, I have to agree. Before I bought it I watched it's behavior for about 30 minutes. The owner of the LFS also fed the tank while I was there. There were 2 in the tank and this one seemed to be a little more agressive but the other one seemed to eat as well.

CBB Update: She is always out in the open and goes to the middle with the other fish everytime I feed the tank. She eats like a PIG! She looks healthy and happy!

Well, I had hoped 2008 would start out better than this year, but my hopes were busted this week. I found out I'm having surgery on January 4th. I have an umbilical hernia that has to be taken care of. That's one surgery I've never had so this will be a new experiance right!

Oh well I guess I'll just start 2008 out with a BANG!

I really have no idea where the double posts come from. It seems to take RC a long time for the post to come up but this time I clicked one time and walked out of the room. I didn't even look at my post after that.

LOL Could be... I've had it all summer but we were building a house. It really didn't start hurting until the past few weeks. Maybe Christmas decorations had something to do with it?

Radicaljbr, Ok this is the third time I've submitted this, hopefully it works this time.

Thank YOu! The sump works well. The pleasure and enjoyment is in the eye of the beholder. Each of our tanks are different which is what makes this hobby so fun! I'll look forward to watching yours progress.

Hey Micki, What do you use to heat your tank with? I need to replace my heater controller and was wondering what the experts use.

Thanks

Radicaljbr, lol, I'm no expert, but, On my reef I use a finnex 500 watt titanium heater with 0800 controller. I had it less than 1 year and the controller went bad. The company replaced it at no cost. So far (knock on wood) it's been fine. I have 2 200 watts Eheim-JAGER TS glass Heaters on the FO tank. I tried the 2 jager heaters on the reef but I could never get the temperature stable for some reason. I also use a pin point probe to keep track of both tanks.

I went fishing today!!! I got a little boy mandarin for my reef. I haven't gotten any pictures of him yet though.

Here is what I got for my FO tank.

Surgery went great! They only did a twilight sleep so I didn't have to have a full general anesthesia or be intubated! I even ate some pizza for dinner tonight! The pain isn't bad at all. I'll take a vicodin tonight to help me sleep but tylenol should be fine tomorrow.

If I take several doses of vicodin in a row, I start feeling sick. Usually 2 doses is enough for pain management for me.

I did have an allergic reaction to the antibiotic they gave me via IV. I've had this antibiotic before with no problems. I started itching really bad and breaking out in hives. Needless to say they DC'd it ASAP. That was a bit scary.

Not really their fault. I've had this several times before both oral and IV. I was just as surprised as they were.
