I found an old picture from 01/01/2007 of my tank and would like tot show you the progress/ comparison:

01/01/2007:

[IMG][/IMG]

12/30/2007:

I re-arranged a few things, but as you can see the big difference are the Acros that have really taken off over the last year. Some corals I lost, like the White Bubble Coral which was not doing well in my tank although it was in a lower light and medium flow area.

The green star polyp that was starting to take over the tank suddenly started to disappear and I suspect my urchin has something to do with is... To have less of this is not the worst in the world...

My waterparameters as of 12/31/07 are:

Temp 78.6
Salinity 3.5%
PH 7.99
Alkalinity 3.71 mg/l 10.40 dkh
Calcium 470 ppm
Magnesium 1425 ppm
Phosphate 0.010 ppm
Nitrate about 20 ppm

My Nitrates are still a little high, but the Denitrator is working and hopefully the get down a little soon. Although, the nitrates are relatively high, I am very happy with the color of most of my sps.

Hello, I'm from your neck of the woods (Wilkes-Barre). Tank looks great. It is nice to see pics from a year ago to now. It lets you appreciate the growth.

I think you can put him into a 90 if you leave lots of room to swim. They can get pretty big but are generally mellow.

Mappelbaum37 it is a Yellow Leather. It is from a LFS, but I have seen them online at liveacquaria.

The yellow leather has grown a lot and I may be able to frag it one day. Right now I just don't want to destroy the nicely shaped growth form.

Very understandable. I have a 75 gallon mixed reef and I plan on getting 2 more corals for the tank:
-yellow leather
-small tentacle plate (orange)

Do you have a plate coral?

I used to have a plate coral, but it didn't do well in my tank. I think it is more something if you have a lot of sand on which you can put it.
