clear/whitish root looking growth on live rock

i noticed a clear type or cloudy transparent looking growth that looks similar to a root growing on my live rock. i don't have a camera to take a picture unfortuantley, however anyone have any ideas of what it might be?

You need to find a camera,to aid your answer.

Yes, a Camera will have the answers you're looking for....J/K. Pics would definitely help in IDing your growth.
