Need some help...
Ok, so I am going to go to skycraft later today to pick up some fans to install into my canopy of 90gal. Question is, I am not very skilled with electrical things, what is the best way to install these? In the pictures of the fans it just has two small cords..no plug or anything...
So if anyone has pictures, advice, etc..that would be great. thanks! Also, is one type of fan better than another? |

go ahead and check, but I have not always found skycrafts fans to be that great of a deal. Stop in cheapguys computers and price fans there too or newegg.com just to get an idea of new prices.

I'd personally but the silverstone fans at Amazon.com (they were cheaper there then newegg last time I checked). Those fans rock. They are the 120mm and push 105 cfm and have an adjustable knob. You are going to pay 30%+ at any local computer shop so unless you need them asap, I'd order the other ones. Mine have lasted 2 years so far. Better then some of those cheapo ones I've gotten local before.

yeah, I agree with going online. The fans at skycraft always seem kinda expensive considering they are used AND unwired most of the time. So by the time you put couplers on them you are not really that much ahead. I am NOT saying that for the most part skycraft is a goldmine!

I found sky craft to be very expensive when I was putting 4 fans in my canopy. I got them on ebay and they are great. 120mm 140cfm and only 31db. Quiet. There are some new ones out now that are blower style that move alot of air and are almost totally silent. good luck
