What about a DSB in a bucket? Works wonders for lots of people and easy to do if you have a sump already. Total cost= $5-7 or so and no maintenance.

Yes I have read that entire thread and reread parts of it several times. Great info thread. I still may try that and also am looking into the DIY route for sulfer denitrifier also. Still not sure which route I will take yet. Have been looking for affordable sulfer suppliers on line if anyone knows of one. Need 99.9% pure. Also uses ca carbonate pellets for calcium. Pretty cool idea.
