Well, at 4:30 pm on Friday, I am meeting the current owners at Chesterfield Mall outside St. Louis to pick up Buster. I am counting the hours

3 questions:

Do they know what you look like?
Have you paid for the dog already?
How far is St. Louis from me?

No particular reason..

No, partially, probably about 700 miles.

Stay away from my puppy

If you'd like to reconsider I can send you the URL to our jack russell out on the JRT rescue site....

I might even kick in some $$$ for you to take him....

Doug, hasn't your puppy been good? Trying to get him adopted?

What is a "windows" person wants him?

and I don't care. I'm considering medical research at this point.

Mostly kidding about that research thing...

The guy I am getting the dog from is in the military, and is about to be deployed. He is really sad that he has to give up the puppy. The dog is 46 weeks old and a house dog, so I get to miss the fun house-breaking stage. He is used to being with another dog (a lab), so I am sure I will keep looking for another dog to keep Buster company. I could adopt from the shelter, but I am pretty set on getting another boxer. They are such a mild, easy-going dog, and I want a dog I can trust around my nieces and nephew (although I always closely supervised my dogs when they were around kids).

Thats it!

I passed on the comment about Brian and supervision around children, but now I regret it.

Mark, I'll through in my cat if you make him suffer.

I could shoot him in the knee caps and work my way up from there. Good enough?

What happened to this plan? Isn't it time you got another puppy? Buster isn't getting any younger you know

His dog sitter won't consent.

I hit a home run when I got Buster.
