Questions on curing live rock

I newly setup a 46 gallon acrylic bowfront back at the end of October and put some base rock in and then in november put in 45lbs of uncured fiji rock and then a week later put in 40lbs of uncured haitian live rock that i bought from LiveAquaria.

How long should it take to color up with coralline algae and other growth?? I have not seen much color come back. The coralline's turned white and not much other growth has come back. I also have not seen any other critters in the tank such as little starfish, cyclops, or any other little critters.

The tank has a rear sump and i have a RedSea Prizm skimmer on it. My lighting is a Corallife Aquallight pro 36" with 250 watt metal hallide 10k with two 65 watt actinics. I usually run the actinic bulbs about 8 hours a day.
