i have the aqua c remora with a mj1200 pump. you wouldn't believe the crap it has pulled out of my tank. i empty it once sometimes twice a week. i wouldn't trade this skimmer for anything. i have it on my NC24. i have the pump part and my heater in the first compartment with the return from the skimmer hanging over the second compartment. that leaves me room to put my purigen and chemi-pure down in the bottom of my second chamber and then my mj122 return pump in my third chamber. it fits like a glove!!

Following along here for my NC12.

I can't use the remora unless i want to cut a hole in the back of my hood, which I don't.

This skimmer has done me well.

Here's the dimensions (Tunze Nano DOC 9002).

My fractions may seem a bit strange there... I'm a metric man myself.

I second the Tunze 9002. Of course, I have the Current Aquapod 24 with no hood. I empty mine on average about once a week, and have a light bioload.

I've heard, unfortunately, that Sapphire Aquatics has gone out of business. I have a Sapphire skimmer in my BC 14. Skims very wet, but I'm happy with it.

ya well the skimmers not going to be that big of a problem now

i just got home from my grandparents for christmas eve dinner and saw that nothin was moving in the tank. so i turned the lights on and both clowns and both peppermint shrimp are dead.
the anemone, kenya tree, and blue stripped mushroom both look fine.
