135 gallon and one fixture is 36 inch 6 bulb and one is 30 inch 6 bulbs with individual reflectors, my tank is your basic 135 not a cube or a tall tank. i would put more demanding corals up top and less on bottom, i was hoping i could have stoney corals and clams, thanks

sounds like one side of the tank may be brighter then the other. you might be able o keep sps at the top of the tank but you would prob be better off with something like a 8 bulb setup from tek but a 6 bulb fixture will do well if you get a good bulb setup going.

Wow, awesome tank! I have a 40g long and can only dream of when it will look like that. What bulbs are you running? I'm thinking of buying a 4 bulb tex set w/ individual reflectors. I love the way your colors show.

The final visual result it depend on the quality of the T5's and from the combination of the kelvins.! I have 5X15000 kelvin, 2Xblue actinic and 1X6500 kelvin T5's by ATI in my 100 g reef tank...

reefgeek.com has some good retro/ bulb combinations. They actually let you pick which bulbs you want. They have a good bulb selection too.

Thanks. Looks interesting upon first scan. I'll have to take some time and read the entire thing.
