Pics of my setup

I finally sat down and made myself put together a little description and some pics of my tank setup. Here are the details:

Tank is 72" x 36" x 32" Acrylic by the former US Aquariums. The lighting consists of 4 400w Xm 20k and 2 5ft. Super actinic VHO. The main circulation comes from a closed loop hooked to a Sequence Hammerhead.

The tank sits on the main floor in the house and is semi built in and viewable from two sides. There is a 9' x 6' room directly under the tank in the basement which houses all of the equpment. The water drains into a 100g rubbermaid sump/refugium and is returned to the tank via another Hammerhead pump. The filtration is handled by a My Reef Creations 8460 quad beckett skimmer that is powered by yet another Sequence Hammerhead. A Geo 8" x 30" Calcium reactor handles all the calcium demands of the corals. The system is controlled by a Reefkeeper 2.

I think that about covers the setup of the tank. The tank is a mixed reef containing a good mixture of SPS and LPS. The fish consist mostly of wrasses and Tangs, also a bluethroat trigger, Heniochus butterfly, Pair of Banded pipefish, and a Dwarf Golden Moray.

Before you view the pics below please be aware that my photography skills and camera are seriously lacking. Also before any of you ask I am not fragging my LE Bubble Algae at this time, but can put your name on a list for future frags!!

WOW! Looks great. I like how you used the basement as a pump/fug room.

Excellent setup.

How do you like your bluethroat? It is really reef-safe?

Damn!! I wish I could get some of your Bubble Algae! It would look sooooo great mixed in with my Aiptasia!
That is one beautiful system! What coral is that below the Green Monti? It is bright green and red. Is it an Acan or blasto? It is beautiful, as are the rest.

Thanks for all the great comments guys!

robsheey- So far the trigger has been great has not touched anything or harassed any other fish.

fishfanatic06- I am not sure of the name of that acro. I wish I could get a better pic to show the yellow color.

bmb527- I believe that coral is a red and green favia.

Here are a couple of other pics. The first is a lousy pic of the Dwarf Moray, very hard to get a good pic of. The second is a Red Tail Tamarin Wrasse.[IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG]

Bump for an awesome tank! I've seen it in person and it really is amazing. I think i've got some of the pictures I took of it somewhere here too... I'll post them if I can find them.

PS. You still gonna sell me those pink and green hammers? =) I'm back from Vail for the next few days.

Here they are. My photography skills are even worse and my camera doesn't show the color you've got going on in that tank quite as well... But oh well.

and the hammers i was talking about were the ones in the back right corner on the first picture.
