I use both Loctite Superglue and a Loctite express epoxy. Superglue is used be everyone to connect corals and many people use the loctite epoxy putty. No guarantees on the putty, but I have had no problems.
One caveat: When I use any glue directly in my tank I always run fresh carbon just on case. Again, no guarantees here, but from what I've read it could help remove chemicals released by the glues. |

I LOVE the Loctite SuperGlue Gel.
It's in a VERY NICE little gray bottle with blue sides. It usually can be found at any hardware store. It reseals when you are done (It really does seal and work again, unlike IC gel!!) I've used bottle after bottle in my tanks and don't run carbon, I never even see the corals get PO'ed when I use it so it's pretty safe stuff, AND it DOES NOT make my skimmer go crazy at all like MANY epoxys I've used over the years.. I gave up on them because they make my skimmer go nuts and it's a pain to get it all dialed back in again.
