Started to drip limewater..question!

I just started dripping lime water and wondering how much and how fast. I have 750g system and use a Geo Calcium reactor. Mixed 2 teaspoons per gallon and did 5 gallons...have been dripping for 12 hours and have gone through 4 gallons.

Calciium 420
Alk 3.0
pH 8.3

Good .. Bad .. ??

Thanks

I drip kalk to keep my Ph at 8.2 - 8.4 but I only drip when I am at home so for only about 8 hrs and its about 1 drop per sec. This way I can keep an eye on it. But now that I have an auto top off unit I am thinking of mixing kalk into my make up water and that way I can kill two birds with one stone.
