I've been looking but have yet to see it this year. home depot carried another mag based melter this year and after doing some searching on it, it was deemed unusable by the chemistry people.

Are there any other places one could look? I think some people look at concrete places for the dowflake. Was wondering if there were some other places other than home depot and Lowes and so forth to look.

It is not in the Green Bay area at all but I have an account at a place that sells Magflake. I don't go there very often unless I can pick up a few bags to make it worth the gas burned in my truck.

I have offered it up to the club in the past and am still willing to do the same if there is enough interest. Cost of transport will be added to cost of the flake though.

I know you said it before, but what would the cost be?

I will give them a call this weekend to get quotes but I need to get all my "crisis" items on my to do list done. #1 on the list is remove the snow from my roof before it rains this weekend. Ice is damming up already and rain will not do it any good.
