Super Skimmer

My super skimmer decided to stop spitting out bubbles, the pump is working but there are no airbubbles. I checked to make sure the air intake was clear of debri and still no go. Any ideas on what I should do?

Thanks.

Ive had the same issue on this skimmer, and have tried everything to get it to inject air.

I don't think it is because of the water line, it has worked for about 8 months. I am going to disasemble the pump tonight and clean it.

Hikari, thanks for the instructions. I bought it from someone and that person didn't have the instructions.

the 125 has too much flow to allow the ventury to work right. making the air inlet would fix this problem

clean the hole at the pump where the air injection line hooks up. they are bad to stop up with salt creep.

anytime mine stops being super productive, i take it apart and clean it, works great afterwards. just its way of reminding you to clean it every so often. great skimmer otherwise

I still have the problem after having cleaner every single part, including all airlines, silencers, and injectors.

Also, I used the skimmer a while ago with great success. The skimmer was stock, no mods. I don't think that the pump has too much flow for the airline, that makes no sense if it worked a while ago. Also, too small of an airline would not cease the production of air into the water stream; though a larger diameter may help.

Try checking the silencer. If there is water in it there it won't produce any bubbles
