You crack that whip hard enough, and the kitchen will be spotless and the clothes will be freshly starched. Do I need to come down there and give those menfolk a lesson in domesticity?

Oxy-Clean works well on color bleeds, and Rit takes out lipstick. Don't know about pens though.

Aliie Hairspray also works in ink- I found that a can of good ol' fashioned aerosol works best...

never heard of the rubbing alcohol... I'll have to give that a try - thanks

He only golfs on the weekends. He works really hard during the week so he plays on the weekends.

I have to go buy hairspray to try it Christy. I'm going to try everything before I trash all the clothes. I got the ink out of the dryer with fingernail polish remover last night. Washed out the dryer and then put the wet whites in and not residual staining, thank goodness.

At least the dryer's clean. I still would make the boy wash his own clothes.

Just a note about golfing hubby...he had no problem letting her run off to MACNA and have a good time without him, he can't be all bad.

When we first moved in here, we didn't have a washing machine so we would go to the laundry mat. How we realized my step-daughter was smoking in her early teen years. Hearing lighter blow up in the dryer!

Then there was the time I was talking to my hubby on the phone earlier this year, and was doing laundry and he said, "what are you doing?" I said, "laundry. I'm almost done! Yea!" Hubby says, "check the pockets of my jeans, I think I left my Motorolla Razor (brand new!) in the pocket of my jeans!" I said, "the jeans are already in the dryer, but I checked the pockets." He says, "Last time I had it I was wearing my carpenter jeans and it was in the pocket on the side of the leg." I said, "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!!! No, I didn't check that pocket!" Instant illness! Stupid phone wasn't in his jeans! It was in the truck! Wasted heartattack!

By the way, try using alchohol! Not for you silly, for the ink spots, it may come out, even after drying. Had to do it on hubby's dress pants that he forgot to take a black pen out of the front pocket before HE washed the clothes!

I've been doing my own laundry since I was 12 years old.

In fact, our entire household pretty much looks after thier own laundry.

Have you ever PURPOSELY sabatoged someone laundry? Like, say.....throwing a few cleanex in the machine so lint gets everywhere??....

What makes a pair of jeans worth $250?

Inquiring minds want to know!

That would be the only way I would spend $250 for a pair of jeans.

LMAO, I would have had a heartattack too FISHY! Exploding lighters don't sound like fun at all.

I'd have the boy do his own clothes but I worry about my washer & dryer and the abuse that they might take. I got them when the boy was born & want to see which one lives longer!

Debi is right about my hubby. He's a good guy and takes good care of me & the boy so I have no qualms about pulling a little extra weight to make things better. Plus he NEVER complains about the money I spent on the tanks and wants a bigger one. What's not to love
