I believe the Ushio 20k SE is from the Colorlite line & not the Aqualite line. Not sure the differences, but heard the bulb is good....

We run a few of them at the shop. Overall I am happy with them, I am a big Ushio fan and ran the 14K DE over my old tank and used to run 10K se for quite a while before that. I usually dont care for 20K but these are not too shabby to my eye. Only other 20K I can say I have seen and like better is the Radium(but for those you really need a HQI ballast or electronic). But like someone else said above beauty and what someone wants a tank too look like when it comes to bulb choice is completely subjective.

I run Radium 20K on HQI ballast and love it. Best bulb i have used so far.
