The pic looks like it's off liveaquaria...
I'm sure someone will remember it... just not me.

Actually its from peteducation, but it didn't say the name, just general info about damcelfish care.

Pomacentrus smithi or Smith's Damselfish
http://www.peteducation.com/article....articleid=1740 http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...cfm?pcatid=124 Don't let the photos fool you they are the same fish. You probably have seen them but didn't take much notice. Last edited by triggerfish1976; 12/18/2007 at 03:31 PM. |

Why do they look so different in those two pictures? Is one an adult and the other a juvenile?

try searching with the spelling damselfish. might get better results.
first entry on the search was actually from peteducation.com "The Smith's Damselfish, also known as Pink Smith Damselfish, has a shiny silvertone to white body with pink highlighting the outline. A small group should reside in a 30 gallon or larger aquarium with live rock and other hiding places to break up the territories. It is an omnivore, eating anything from algae to meaty foods." http://www.peteducation.com/article....articleid=1740
