Hydor customer support
I recently bought BigCat's 90 setup and one of the items were 2 Hydor 4's. While cleaning everything up one of the 4's didn't spin and Joe was getting shocked. (He has curly hair now, both of them). Well I e-mailed Hydor asking if I could just buy the power pack because they were out of warranty. They answered me and wanted the motor back, so I sent it to them and 4 days later a completely new 4 arrived in the mail. Ginny accused me of buying something else.
Soooooo I wouldn't have any reservations about buying from this company with CS like this. Plus they put out a _ _ _ _ pile of flow.

I had a very similar experience with Hydor. The original shafts that came on the koralias were ceramic(european design) versus stainless. I e-mailed their support group and twithin a week I had 5 new stainless shafts.

I am sure they wanted them back ASAP. If they had a shocking problem that is something that they do not want out there regardless of warranty or not. I could not imagine the nightmare that could turn into.

I had two Hydor Flows (rotating power head attachment).
Phishy carries em for about $15. My turbo snails would try to get on them and get stuck, this would stop them from rotating. In the process the small pinion gear stripped out on both of them. I emailed Hydor USA asking for just the gear piece for them. 4 days later two brand new Flows show up at my door. I agree, Excellent customer service. I did not expect Turbo snail damage to be covered under warranty, but they did no questions asked. I will buy Hydor again in the future. Ken
