Calcium Reactor is it time?

started to see my sps growing like weeds now.using bonic 2 part now addind 60ml cal and 45 ml alk a day to keep my levels up.it is becoming a real pain in the but.will a calcium reactore save some time each day? thanks for any info.

yup...if your tired of dosing every other day like I did...get a ca reactor...That is what I'm doing for my 180g setup....should be up and running in 6 wks. Checkout Reeftek ca reactors...very affordable and good quality *upflow*

You still have to add iodine, but that is the least of your worries...

Depends on your coral demands. It ight be a waste to get. But will make life easier if you had one. I personnally use a kalk reactor.

I'm actually going to use both ca and a kalk reactor...just tired of dosing and the cost in the long run...

Yeah I am with you on that. $8 for some kalk that last almost 2 months or $44 for B-Ionic that would last about a month if that. Once I get more of a demand for calcuim I will get a calcuim reactor. But right now a kalk reactor works just fine.

why do you have to add iodine? what test kit you using to check your levels of iodine?
