Is anybody keeping a BTA with T5's only? if so, what is your setup?

I do, i have a RBTA under 6 T5 ran by an IceCap Ballast. I started with 4 T5 and my RBTA was loving it. I only increase the amount of bulbs to keep SPS. When you run T5, make sure you have good reflectors (individual) so you could get the most out of them.

I have my tank half with 250w mh's and the other with a 4x48" IC t5 setup so its pushing 85w per bulb. My bta moved all around until he found his spot, about 1/3 up under my t5's. He seems to love them. I'm getting ready to go all t5 and with more bulb's so we'll see how he likes that.

216W of T5 in a tank 20" high with the lights 9" above the rim. The RBTA's stay on the bottom, or no more than 6" high in the tank and are constantly growing and splitting.

I have small breeding tanks and use Coralife T5 fixtures on them all. My BTA's love them and stay parked no higher than midway up the tank.
