Cool WTS- large Blue Carpet

This thing keeps eating my fish- I need to find a new home for him. Anybody interested? You can also have the clown if you can catch her!

I picked it up this afternoon.

Yes, it really is as vibrant in person as in the pic. It is much richer and darker blue in color than my other blue carpet. It is HUGE!
I'd say easily 18" in diameter fully expanded when I got to Tracy's house to pick it up. Couldn't take the maroon as I'm sure my existing pair of large black polymnus clowns wouldn't tolerate it.
I'd classify the Maroon's size as "large", ~4.5".

Doing fine so far and looks great next to my other carpets.
The contrast between my neon green, fire red, and now this blue, is incredible!

Stung the hell outta my forearm though!! Never been stung that badly and I've handled my share of carpets. Hurt like hell!
The pic doesn't really show it, but it left a good sized welt!

My wife wanted to take me to the ER!

Thanks Tracy and nice to meet you. Nice tank. Feel free to look me up if/when you're ready for some sps, especially since I'm right around the corner from you.

Gisho

Will do. I'll wait a couple days though 'til this guy settles in and starts to expand more fully. Hopefully it'll stay where I put it...they have a tendency to roam until they find a spot they are happy. In the meantime you can see the pics I've had in my gallery for a while now of the green and red carpets. Very small pics though and they have both grown considerably since then. The green and red touch each other now.

yeah, I literally had to pry it off of my arm.
Reminded me of the scene in the original Alien movie where they are trying to remove the alien from the guys face.
I shoulda put a plastic bag over my hand like I normally do when handling these guys.... ah well, learned my lesson!

I had a big yellow haddoni that I had for 6-7 years that did that to me when I had to move. If I remember right, the rash lasted 2-3 weeks.
I had never had a problem before, but something about lifting them out of the water really ****es them off.
