Chaeto and Pest Paranoia

Should I be just as vigilant when it comes to chaeto as for fish and frags? How do you make sure chaeto doesn't have any unwanted pests? Where would you recommend getting pods if those that typically come with a bag of chaeto cannot be trusted?

Thanks Mr. Ugly, those sound perfect.

I did some searches(1,2,3), and I think I convinced myself to dip and then rinse in freshwater. One guy got ICH, another predatory isopods, and the last got flatworms from their chaeto. Learned that people have not only dipped their chaeto in freshwater, but blasted it with a garden hose and it was fine.

The only thing I've ever put in my system that gave me unwanted problems was chaeto...with bubble algae in it
