deciding which light to use

I am starting a 44gal (35x18widex16deep). I have a new 150w reeflux 12k with a M81 magnetic ballast that i was going to use on another tank but i could use it and possible add a second 150 as well. Or would it be better to use say a single 250w? I plan on mostly sps with possible a clam or two.

Personally I would go with 2 150's to give better light coverage since you have a pretty shallow tank.
