I dunno ? lol I don't think this algae likes a lot of flow. I have some in my sump on my 20 gallon and it does not grow fast at all. now the algae in my AGA grows crazy . low flow and its starts growing every where. That is the only observation I have found between to two tanks.

0 the lighting in sump is a HD plant light , I think the k rating is 6500 I think 32 watts. it was growing a lot before in the sump now that I am thinking about it but that was only when I had excess nutrients.

and the algae in tank is under 96 watt 50/50

hmmmm maybe I have no skimmer on the 10 but I had cheato in the 10 and it was not growing lol and now the cheato in the sump on the 20 is growing like nuts and no growth from the prolifera . might also be because the cheato blocks a lot of lighting from it i dunno but I always make sure the pro gets light buy trimming the cheato down.
