best protein skimmer for aquapod 24

What is the best skimmer out for an aquapod 24 gallon for a gift for myself for the holidays.

I was looking at the tunze but will that take to much stuff out of my tank that is beneficial?? cause dont sps eat fish poop?

I'm not an SPS junkie, but I think they are fully photosynthetic. Not sure though.

sps need the water as clean as possible! so if you going with mostly sps you want a realy good skimmer.

i have pretty clean water and my sps have all done quite well just want your help in deciding on a skimmer

If you are willing to pay a little extra, the deltec mce600 and the tunze line of nanoskimmers would do well. If you don't want to spend that much, the odyssea ps65 usually goes for 30 bucks on ebay and is an excellent skimmer. I have also heard good things about bakpaks run with non-stock pumps. If you want a submersible skimmer, the sapphire nano skimmers go for about 130$ and are pretty good.
