Thank You Anthony!

Thank you so much Anthony! I had a wonderful time and you have a beautiful collection!! Thank you so much for the raffle ideas! I am a very happy girl. Thank you to EVERYONE I got frags from, and I do mean EVERYONE because I walked away with a ton of beautiful pieces. It was wonderful seeing all of you again and meeting those of you I have never had the pleasure of meeting as well as getting the chance to hang out with all of you. Anthony, the spread was wonderful! It was Very nice to see Vince there too! So happy you're back Vince!!! Love you guys (and gals, though we do need more, because I'm feeling very alone :O) If I missed giving anyone in particular specific pieces, please let me know, and I'll bring them to the next meet. I hope everyone is happy with their pieces!

you are certainly welcome, glad you stayed in the hobby; and yes, we do need more ladies in the club.

Anthony, its always a pleasure. Thanks for hosting and putting together the clam raffle and frag raffles.

And a shout out to Alex b/c I know he helped as well.

It was a hectic day, so if I missed giving anyone frags that I had promised them let me know. I'm happy to say that everything is now in the tank.

Anthony....thanks for letting us raid your place. The meatballs were awesome, the brownies were awesome.....i think i completely missed getting some pizza.......but getting beat by a 4yr old & a 12yr old in Wii Tennis.....priceless.

Anthony - Great time as always...food, the friends, everything was great...and especially the clam buy!!

Alex - Ya know, when you play games with the youngins and get beat so bad...it really makes you feel your age sometimes!! Remember when we were all kids, some couple years ago, and the older folks couldn't even contemplate how to play a video game?

Great time everyone...maybe I'll host in, say, March or so if everyone doesn't mind the drive to Amelia...

I finally feel like I can start putting some faces w/ screen names. It was nice getting to know everybody a little better. Anthony, "Thank you for a real good time". To those of you who made donations to a young and frag-less tank, THANK YOU for your generosity.
I look forward to hosting a meet when my tank is a little more presentable, maybe early spring.

im glad most came away happy, alex and i thought we would have enough to supply the meet. I would rather spread the nice corals around this area than bother shipping stuff across the country, and i know alex feels the same way.

IIRC, wasn't the clam raffle your idea? Everyone that didn't get in on this clam deal should be kicking themselves. I'm pysched about my two, I'll try to get some pictures.

Well, its good to hear you all had such a good time. How many people were there?

I'm feeling so sorry for myself for not being able to make it . Maybe next month, and I hope it turns out being as nice as this one seems to have been.

Oh, and Cindy, I do hope you end up with more gals around, too, since that would include me

BTW those clams are really incredible. Congrats to anyone who got one. I like that aqua/greenish looking one in the center.

i never got a head count, but i'd say easily over 40 people, maybe more than 50?

next meet we should have a sign in sheet so people can give their emails and we'll set up a mass email list for the rrc

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised if the total hit 50 throughout the course of the night. There were easily 30+ at one point.

thx for letting Chris and me crash the party. Had a great time (even the 6hrs of driving) the meatballs and brownies kept me in good shape, didn't need to eat till lunch today. Hope whoever got the LPS we donated can grow them out and pass them out some more.

I need to chime in and say thanks also This was the meet to remember that is for sure. I think I walked away with over a dozen "NICE" corals. I still cannot believe I got first draw on the LPS, If I had only gotten one coral I wanted that Acan but knew I was not going to get it, then to get first pick, now thats Priceless. Thanks to one night I can now mark off 4 of my most wanted frags. Now just need to get the Superman Danae, Setosa, and a watermelon chalice. Got the Rainbow Acan in the display tank today along with the Suharsoni, and the White w/blue tips acro (do you know what species this one was Anthony). The Purple Deaths are starting to open and the Nuclear Green Palys opened today. Everything was cream of the crop.

On a side note, just wanted to say thank goodness I have ravenous peppermint shrimps. One of the frags had two little Majano anemones on it and when I put it in the tank, immediately two of the peppermints went to town and devoured all of them.

Once again many thanks to Anthony and Alex for putting together such a great swap.
