Sailfin losing its sails??? Help!!!

What's up guys, I've got a sailfin that's about 3&1/2 inches whose losing parts of his sails. I have a coral banded shrimp that I thought got ahold of him, but now I'm not so sure. It's at the point of his top and bottom sails that looks like they got ripped apart or are deteriorating. Anybody got any ideas???

Also, before anybody starts yelling at me for having a sailfin in a 55, I already have a 160 that I'm putting together and should be up and running in a few months that he'll be transferred to.

I had a tang with Ich, and that messed his fins up pretty bad. Any other fish with him?

I had a sailfin do the same thing. Nothing seemed to help in my situation. Perhaps I started treatment too late, in any case, he may have a disease which rots the fins until there is nothing left. The name escapes me. I would QT and treat immediately. JMO. Someone else will chime in and correct me if I'm wrong. Good luck and post pics.

Finrot. You need to quarantine and treat with antibiotics.
