The only problem with option 2 is my aquarium stand won't fit in anything larger the current sump. I have tried to put 29 gals, 20 gals, they won't fit. I am considering option1 though, don't know much about DAS EX-1 skimmer, need to do more research, i guess. Thanks for ur suggestions.

Since people mentioned some hobs, I say get the bermuda rogue
Heres a post luke33 used the rogue on his 125 and it pulled nasty crap out. For the price of 300~ it works really well.

It does. I don't drink cloudy beers and this is not going to help change that practice.
