Snowdrifts In The Bedroom. I Love Minnesooooota!

We've had 20 inches of new snow and low temps in the teens below zero at night this week. I like to keep the sliding glass door in our bedroom open at night to keep it cool, but my wife thought it was just a little too cold this morning when she woke up to find a three inch high snowdrift on the bedroom carpet near the open door. I have no idea what the room temp was, but the snow wasn't melting. Good sleepin' weather!

And I thought keeping the AC on 68 at night was bad. I'll agree the colder the better when sleeping.

I sleep so much better when it's cold.

LPPT if you didn't drink so much tequila and kept you clothes on, you could turn down the heat

Snow is that which provides the "white" in White Christmas. You should see one sometime. It's really quite pretty.

65 is good house temp; 55 is good sleeping temp. I like to hibernate.

And I'd FAR rather find a 3" drift on the carpet in the bedroom any morning, rather than the snakes we used to find where we came from...finding *half* a snake in your bedroom proves that our cats are pretty darned fast.
