Thanks goes out to everyone who showed up. It was a blast.

This will sound very cheesy, but it wouldn't have been as good of a swap without all you folks. MASVC thanks you all for making the trip!

I finally put faces to some names I see on here all the time. I'm glad to hear you all had a great time.

Pictures coming soon!

It was my first time at a frag swap and it was more than I expected, got a FEW (about 15) frags and an exellent meal for a low price and met some new people too.
WOW!!! What a great FRAG SWAP that was. Thanks everyone who put all this together for making my first swap a great experience. Can't wait till next year.

Thanks everyone for coming out and supporting us. I hope everyone had a great time as I did. With all of your help, we were able to pull of what we had invisioned, an old school back yard swap. Lot's of good deals, good food and good people.

As for our long distance travle winner, we had yellowslayer13's
uncle attend all the way from Indonisa. And yes he has a reef tank. Kind of threw us for a loop as we weren't expecting someone to travel that far. We did have 2 ladies from Las vegas, Nv drive out as well as the geneltman from Tijuana, Mexico. So as you can see, we did have a few long distance travelers which made it that much more enjoyable for us.

A big thatnks goes out to Kevin from TAAM for setting up a display and showing off their lattest goodies for us reefers. He even donated some nice "toys" for the raffle. We'll have to wait for Brad to give us a review of the new Calc reactor he won once he gets it set up. Looked like a nice setup for small tanks.

Also a big thanks to all of the sellers and others that donated to the raffle. There were some nice corals that were raffled off. The raffle seemed to be a big sucess and raised a few dollars for the club as well as paid for the food.

I tried to talk to just about everyone there but I know I missed a few. For those I missed, I'm sorry. But hit me up next time your at one of our events so I can thank you for joining us. It was great to get to finally put a face to a name for a lot of you as well as got to see some old friends. Justin, time for you to come back to the meetings. We need to go ride again.

We are looking at our next swap for next year already and trying to see if we can make it any better. So keep your eyes open. Don't know if we can out do this one, other than maybe get a bigger place.

As for me, I scored about 15 frags even though I was running around a lot. Frank, the tubb's blues that we were worried about opened up about 5 min after putting them in my tank and they look awsome so no worries there. All of my other frags that I got from everyone are doing great, I have once again started a nice Zoa collection to replace the ones I lost several years back when I changed tanks and lights.

Again thanks to all of the club members who pitched in and helped out, to those who want to sgin up and join our club and to those who cam to sell/trade that made this a sucess.

Hope to see some of you at our next meeting.

Ray

Thanks MASVC and everyone for the frag swap. We had good time meeting nice people and had great food. Hope we have it again next year.
Thanks Justin for very nice frags. I couldn’t believe my wife brought home 15 frags from this swap. It was so impressed that our prez have such loud raffle announcement without a speaker .
I like the last picture Brad with a red drunken face looking at those frags. How many frags you saw at that moment?...lol…

Tommy.... word is that your wife is the fish nerd in the family, not you. I even heard that she had to go clean out your account with the ATM card half way through. Can I have her e-mail address, we would like a club tour of your tank and it seems that she may be more receptive that you (recall September??).

And as far as me getting drunk... that was for all of the attendees, as Ray was not allowed to make a raffle draw until after I had finished a beer. I tell ya, I am a giver!

I'm sure she's reading this…You’re right Brad. She requests that we should have an ATM machine at the swap, so next time she doesn’t have to drive far for the money… she claimed on me why taken her to the swap…
…hmm, next time I let she helps out Dave’s wife at food court...
