sps tanks, and soft coral

so all you sps freaks, im wondering if your tanks are like mine and soft corals just dont grow much in a clean water/high light enviornment. For example i have had a piece of xenia for about 6 months and it has hardly grown at all, and i also have one single polp of ricordea and that hasnt grown/spilt at all either in that same time period.
does anyone have good SPS growth/color AND good soft coral growth at the same time? im wondering maybe i should supplement more trace elements, or something is lacking in my system

I have a mix in mine and keep LPS/softies near the bottom of the tank with reasonable results.

its wierd b/c my xenia used to be out of control and i tried to remove all of it but i found 2 little pieces and they have slowly gown but nothing like they used to. maybe it has to do with only dosing kalkwasser, and using a calcium reactor... i used to dose idoine and trace elements.
