T-5 Question
What size, or how many T-5 lights do I need for a 55G and a 90G.

It depends what you want to grow. For instance I have 4 now, but Im moving up to 6 because there are alot of nice color combos for 6 lights as opposed to 4, and I want my SPS & other corals in general to grow quicker. Ive been growing SPS with 4, but I want to move away from using the GE 6500k, because of the way it mutes colors, so I need to add more lights.

55 may only be able to fit 4, for a 90 I would definitely get the 6 for the added freedom it gives you in color combos & potential to grow corals

read the T5 Q&A thread found in this forum, Its long but has a lot of great info. theres also a thread in the SPS forum of T5 only SPS tanks that is pretty inspirational. |
