I have a 180 reef and would like to add another tang. I know that similar body types will fight so what can I add with the Yellow and Naso? They are about 3-4in each and I also have a six-line and a marroon clown.

agree with the above, an acanthurus sp. might work, though i would make sure it is at least as big as the yellow, and i would have it eating and fattened up before you put him

Thanks, I was thinking of a Kole. What about a Purple Tang or is it to close to the body type of the yellow tang?

Purple and yellow are from the same family. Might work but is risky. If you do try it, use the mirror trick. It has worked well for me. I am going to try and add a black with a purple in a 375, both same family.
If you want to be safe go with the bristletooth recommendation. I have a Kole, also, the juvi chevron's are stunning. |

I have a Naso, Yellow, and Tomini Tang in a 180. All get along fine, as all are different body types. If you can find a nice kole or chevron tang, go for it! i had a kole before that didnt survive a move, and i gotta say i really miss that fish. I have a tomini now so i cant get another kole, but of the 2, the kole did a much better job of cleaning rock and glass, and the kole was less aggressive than the tomini. good luck
