Converting aquapod to fresh tank

Sorry for bringing up fresh in a marine forum, but I have a question. I am thinking of going fresh, but my Aquapod nano cube 12 gallon has a very strong circulation. The strongest I think. This is good for corals etc, but a fresh needs to be mellow. Is there a weaker pump I can buy for this thing or am I stuck? I suppose I could sell it or trade it, but thought I'd ask first. Thanks.

IMO sell it off and for 100$ you get out of it you could get a 10 gallon freshwater setup for 50-75$

Yeah, I could do that. I have the stand as well, which could bring it up to 150.00 at least. Hardly used.

Replace the stock pump with a lower rated Maxi-Jet powerhead/pump. Maybe a #400 or #600. Check out their flow rates.
