Lumen Bright Questions
I am going to be "testing" a Lumen Bright mini on my 180 (6 ft X 2 ft X 2ft) and will be replacing a Reefoptix parabolic reflector. I am going to replace my 250 watt MH center reflector with the Lumen Bright.
I have several questions 1) Will I be blown away by the difference? 2) Will my SPS be blown away by the difference (ie. can they be damaged by the increase in light)? My tank currently has 3 of the parabolics and it does look a little dark and the light seems a bit unevenly distributed. I am running 250 Watt 10K XMs. If the Lumen bright works out, I will most likely get two more. Can you say Christmas present!!! Any insight as to what to expect or any precautions I will need to take would be appreciated. Thanks. Herb |

You may want to move corals down a bit, I did burn a few with that set up at first.
