OT: Mac Users - Leopard OS

Just looking for some feedback from any Mac users out there with regards to the newly released Leopard OS. Is it really worth the $199.00 price tag? Is it good for 3 downloads or just one?

I have the quad-core Mac Pro which has not one, but two 3.0 Intel Xeon “Woodcrest” processors . Apples website says that with the 3.0GHz processors, the Mac Pro runs up to 2x faster than the Power Mac G5 Quad. Time machine is the main reason I was interested in getting Leopard, it's just I was wondering about the other 300 + "upgrades". How many downloads is Leopard good for?

If you have a friend at a UC school (possibly other university/college, too), they may be able to get you a copy for much less. At UCLA, it's $69. That is much less than even the Apple online store educational price. I am going to get one from UCLA for myself.

I did just in fact buy my copy at UCLA for $69 (student price). I'll give you my impressions when I get around to installing it, probably this weekend.

G4 mac users - Just make sure you read ALL the installation instructions. You need 9GB of free space and more than 867MHz processor for it. I had a SCSI card in my Powerbook and it wouldnt complete the install, had to take the card out to get it to run. Havent gotten to use the OS yet because of that problem.
