I use Nikon D200 and 105 micro for the macro shots. D200 is not goos at high iso and I can only accept under iso 400. The bowfront is not good for taking photo. As I said, that's one of the reason why I changed the tank.
Hope the information helped. |

I was asking more about your technique than equipment. What aperture, shutter-speed, ISO, additional lighting and how you capture such exposures? Do you shoot in A, S, P or M priority mode? Do you use a timer or remote shutter release? That type of stuff. Thanks again!

I only shot in M mode. ISO is under 400 and normally 200. I usually decide the aperture first. For the macro shot, I set from 16 to 32, depends on the condition. Shutter-speed is decided after I set the aperture. I don't use flash.

I love your nano! It is gorgeous!
One question for you-I was so inspired by your mushrooms, rics, etc. that I went out and bought a couple of loss ones this past weekend. I tried super glueing them to my rocks but the next morning that had come off and blown around. How do you get your rics to stay in place? do you use super glue or something else? Thanks! |

Nice tank. What are you going to do when everything starts to grow? Any plans to upgrade?

These are all ricordias, right?
Does anyone know of good sources for such in the Midwest USA, more specifically, Milwaukee, WI area? Hardly see items like this at the LFS's in my area. Thanks, Matt
