Marine Society Meetings

Hello Everyone,

In an effort to be a bit more consistant and hopefully increase membership and attendance we are changing things up a bit. We will now be meeting every second Saturday of the month at Paradise Cove Pets in Bellevue from 1-3 pm. We will still have guest speakers throughout the year and seminars at the other stores in town. As officers of the club we felt that it would help the club grow if we had routinely scheduled meetings along with our tank tours, in store seminars and national speakers. This way people who are currently not members would have an easy to attend meeting to find out more about us. Jeff has also offered to keep a small tank possably for members to use should they want to swap frags at the meeting. We are also working on another speaker for this year and the holiday party is just around the corner. We will be holding a membership drive later this fall at Petland so be on the watch for details. The first of the monthly scheduled meeting is this Saturday so see you all there.

Don't worry...the standards to "apply" for the society aren't set too high. That being said I would study at least one Borneman, Sprung, and Michael text before applying...and be ready for the test.

due to the adult content of our High Society club, you may not beable to join due to age requirements. Its not just that though, are you strong enough to carry Jugs up to the Penthouse? Can you be enough of a Playboy to smooze with everyone? Most importantly, how good of a Hustler are you?

leave it to Ray to take the wholesome goodness of our club straight to the gutter. As you can tell Ray joined before we began testing or had any standards what so ever
By the way the test is true or false.

hint: do you have $20? start studying.

Don't worry though, failing grades can be supplemented by extra credit work (executive members tank maintenance) and bribery! Just a little warning though, you might need a wet-suit to clean up Jim's lagoon.

I resemble that remark! Besides, i have plenty of standards. I just choose to set the bar low.

No test after all? I feel cheated...I had to drink a weeks worth of skimmate from a EuroReef RC500. Really funny joke fellas.

No the next meeting will be Nov. 10th at PCP. If anyone has anything they would like to cover or even setup some frag swaps feel free (when our new site is up I want to start a frag swaping thread for meetings).

nu_beta_2016 - now thats funny...
